About Ease Uganda
It is all about the community and the environment. Our projects are designed to address problems that help restore the environment while improving livelihoods in impoverished communities.
It has been realised that environmental degradation today, is due primarily to two groups of people, one of them being the bottom billion poorest. As people get more trapped into poverty, they use and destroy the natural resources faster as a means of survival. When this trend continues, the environment can longer sustain the livelihood of communities which eventually leads to more poverty.
How we are linking poverty and environment to enhance environmental restoration
Poverty and environment are so interlinked that none of them can be tackled in isolation therefore our projects provide a complimentary strategy to reduce poverty among women and youth while promoting environmental restoration. We are doing this through recycling waste materials and partnering with like minded organisations and enterprises whose objective is to improve livelihoods and restore the environment.
